Connecting the dots…

Love and Loss…

Death…

These are the stories that were shared by Steve Jobs during a commencement address he was invited. It’s a story that he himself was the main character. It’s not just an ordinary story but a story to be shared where in we could find life’s best lessons to be learned.

These are the statements which lingered in my thoughts:

“You’ve got to find what you love.”

In searching for what we want, we must be able to determine the things that make us happy. As of now, I am still searching for the things that matters most in our years of living, the things that will bring us a lifetime happiness and satisfaction. Like everyone else, the search is not yet over. Keep looking.

“Keep looking, don’t settle.”

Come to think of it, when we already achieved our goals, does it mean that we should also stop living? It’s a BIG NO NO, right? Keep moving on, keep on dreaming and make it real. It gets better and better everyday.

“You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards”

I know that everything happens for a reason. We might not realize it earlier but sooner or later, no regrets would come. We just have to love what we did. We can never determine what would happen in the future but we could always look back to our past. The past shapes our future.

“If you live each day as if it was your last, someday you’ll most certainly be right.”

Thinking that everyday was our last could give us the best reasons to do all the things we would like to do. Giving our best performance and living our life to the fullest. No one wants to die. Even the bravest soldier that ever lived this planet was afraid of it. ho3. I think so. Death is the only thing that no one could ever escape. Not even myself. Someday, somehow, I know I will be one of those people who past away. They were just earlier. It’s the nature of life to make way for the new and blah blah blah.

“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking”

We must know the things that will keep us going, the things we love without considering what other people think. It’s not about them; it’s about us, about who we really are and who we wanted to be. There are things that only our selves could understand. We must learn how to stand up and fight for the right reason. Find courage to follow your heart. We know what’s best for us. Our time is limited, no time for pretending who we were not. Be yourself and I assure you that there could be no regrets.

“Stay Hungry. Stay Foolish.”

Stay hungry for ideas and knowledge. We must keep on learning. Everytime we learn something new, we discover that there are more things we doesn’t know. Learning continues as long as our hearts keeps on beating. Stay foolish. Like a child who is willing to learn.

Life is a journey. Life is a climb. Keep climbing and keep moving.

my PurPOse is...

“My purpose is to know my purpose in life.” - ho3. kidding. :D

Honestly my goal when I was younger was to help my family, to provide their needs. As the eldest, it’s my duty to help them. Now, if ever my obligations or role as a person would be taken away from me, I would feel completely worthless, empty and the like.
But when we are empty and aimless, it’s the right time to know what our purpose should be disregarding all our roles and responsibilities to the people around us. Our family, school, community, and the world would no longer be the center point of our goals. It’s all about us, as an individual, our goals for our own satisfaction and whatsoever.
I’m thinking of what I might be when I restart my life, to be reborn; I think my new purpose is to be a technopreneur. I know it’s the main idea that this subject was included in our curriculum and the purpose that this subject would like to teach.

“My purpose is to be a technopreneur”, easy to say but how should I start?

            These are the questions that will help us generate business ideas and opportunities;
·         What you love?
·         What you are best at?
·         What are your irritants?

After we identify the things we love, our best and what we hate, we could easily think of any business or products related to the things we answered.

If being a technopreneur will be like reaching for the unreachable star, well, I think I will still pursue it. Even if I won’t become one, at least I will still fall on the treetop. That I will still say to myself “NICE TRY, YOU ALMOST GOT IT”. ho3. I think no regrets would come up to our conscience once we know we did our best and we could still try it all over again, who knows? We could achieve it next time.
